HarvardXR is more than a conference. it’s a space to participate.
There’s more than one way to experience HXR. You can volunteer to join the team with free access, or become an ambassador and earn your ticket by helping promote the event. On-site, take part through live voting, passport stamp activities, and networking with the community.
The space is open, find your way to engage.
HXR 2026 Digital Map
The HarvardXR Digital Map is your mobile guide to the conference: an interactive floor plan of Gund Hall, live room info, a digital passport for stamps, and showcase voting—all in one place.
1. Log In
Audience (ticket holders)：
Use First name, Last name, and the email you used to buy your ticket (registered email).
Guest (speakers, presenters, judges, sponsor)
Use Guest login and enter your ## lowercase ## full name exactly as shared with the HarvardXR team (same format as on the guest list).
Problems logging in?
If you are confirmed to attend but still cannot log in, go to check-in and scan the QR code there to self check in (and then go as an audience) and get help or access.
2. After you’re in — map, stamps, voting
Map
Open the interactive floor map to see rooms, tap a room for schedule and details, and find your way around Gund Hall.
Collect stamps (digital passport)
Visit sessions and locations as listed in the app. Collect digital stamps in your passport as you take part—your personal record of the day.
Vote
During the showcase, use the voting feature to pick your favorite project. One vote per person (enforced in the system).

HXR 2026 Volunteer
HXR 2026 is currently looking for on-site volunteers to join the HXR 2026 team — and we would love to have you be part of it!
Volunteers help run the conference and be part of the HXR team on-site. They support check-in, session coordination, and event logistics while gaining behind-the-scenes experience.
We are calling for 2 tracks of volunteers:
Operations Volunteers
Help ensure the conference runs smoothly by assisting with check-in, guiding guests, supporting speakers, and helping with general event coordination.
Photography Volunteers
Help document the conference through photos and capture key moments throughout the event. (Photography volunteers should have their own camera equipment.)
HXR Ambassador
HXR 2026 is looking for ambassadors to help share the conference with your communities — and earn a free ticket/merch in the process!
Ambassadors support HXR by promoting the event through chat groups, social media, campus networks, and personal channels.
By completing simple outreach tasks, you’ll help grow the HXR community while gaining early access and recognition.

STEP 3. Upload proof and unlock free ticket eligibility.
