Avi Bar-Zeev has been at the forefront of Spatial Computing and XR for close to 35 years. First launching Disney’s groundbreaking Aladdin VR ride in the early 90s, crafting Second Life’s 3D worlds and then co-founding Keyhole (Google Earth) around 2001. He co-invented the Hololens AR headset in 2010, helped define Amazon Echo Frames in 2015, and lead the Experience Prototyping team for Apple on the Vision Pro and more from 2016 to 2019. He’s helped at least 10 hardware projects, but he remains primarily focused on bringing new and more magical user experiences to life.

After Apple, he’s also written publicly about Spatial Computing, XR, AI, The Metaverse, ethics and the future of human computer interaction. He founded the XR Guild, a non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting ethics in XR+AI from the ground up.
