Jeffrey Jacobson

Jeffrey Jacobson, Ph.D., is the XR Lead at Immersive Design System, the simulation-based training and systems analysis group at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Jacobson has 35 years of research and engineering in virtual reality for training and education in several industries. With nearly 2000 citations in the scientific literature, his doctorate is in information science, and today he leads IDS’ efforts to develop training simulations in virtual and augmented reality.
