Yiner Xu is a design technologist, media artist, visual designer, and illustrator. Her new media practice involves creating immersive experiences both digitally and tangibly that blend media with technology to craft interactive designs through the lens of synesthesia in connections of senses and perceptions. Her illustration explores the theme of nature in bright colors and rich textures. Her work has been exhibited at Sowa Gallery, Boston Cyberarts Gallery, Tower West Gallery, Frances Euphemia Thompson Gallery, Brookline Public Library, Harvard Art Museum, MIT Chapel, and has been selected in MassArt Auction. Her work is held in the collections of “Handel: The Creation” in the Symphony Hall. She also contributed visual projection, media design, and lighting design to performances at MIT Theater Arts and Media Lab.
