Dr. Zhenzhen Qi is an artist, educator, and researcher from China, currently based in the US. She is an assistant professor at the Digital Media Design (DMD) Department at the University of Connecticut, researching software simulation as a mode of collective re-making and un-looping. She has been invited to speak at art and technology events such as Electronic Literature Festival(ELO), College Art Association(CAA), New York Creative Tech Week, International Studio and Curatorial Program(ISCP), among others.  Her computational art has been curated by leading cultural institutions around the world, such as New Museum in New York, Art Basel in Switzerland, Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, and Electra in Montreal, Canada.
