Shelley Peterson’s decades of experience across the XR industry have resulted in repeated demonstrations of the value of XR across numerous manufacturing programs, including Lockheed Martin’s civil and defense space initiatives. As a Director within Microsoft's Mixed Reality organization, Shelley led the strategic implementation of XR technology.
Early in her professional career, Shelley founded a business providing capabilities related to aircraft distributed mission training and a monocular system for SOCOM. Her experience includes software development on the B-1 Bomber simulator, electronic warfare capabilities at E-Systems, and the Space-Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) satellite program, where she served as the first certified mission management crew member and instructor.
Shelley also serves on advisory boards for the Barbara Bush Foundation, AWE, and Southern Methodist University.
